Christmas 2016

The year of 2016 has been a bit of a roller-coaster, personally, nationally and internationally. I have been involved in a successful Police and Crime Commissioner Election, an unsuccessful European Referendum, a successful Labour Party Leadership election, and I have intently followed the most important election for which I do not receive a ballot: the US Presidential Election.

On New Year’s Day, 2016, I recorded my first, and so far only podcast. I hope I will be able to do more of these, and I hope to write more in general. The truth is, however, that there is an awful lot of work to be done over the next year. I am campaign coordinator for our local county council elections, there may be a snap general election (although I am not particularly sure of this), and there are attempts to stack the Labour Party Conference with delegates of one political persuasion or another.

For now, may I wish you all a very Happy Christmas, and a prosperous New Year.
